Robertson Nursing Home in Godalming is a Tudor style house situated on the outskirts of Godalming, set within beautiful, extensive grounds. It is located in beautiful, rural surroundings, within a short reach of Godalming town centre and the A3. The home is registered to care for people who need nursing care.
Robertson Nursing Home is a member of the Registered Nursing Home Association and the Surrey Care Association. The Home aims to provide quality and tender, loving care to an elderly client group.

Services Offered
We can provide specialist Nursing and Residential care for up to 34 older people of both sexes. The Robertson Nursing Home welcomes residents who require short-term care, rehabilitation or long continuing care. We have a number of fully qualified and trained staff and they endeavour to help residents to plan their day. We try to fully utilise and embody the skills of other professionals and services in order to offer the holistic care for our residents. We feel that training and development go hand-in-hand with our overall Home’s philosophy of Care and we endeavour to continually improve our standards through regular monitoring and review.
We can also provide short-term respite care or day care.
Fees
Fees vary according to the room chosen, care requirement and facilities available, such as en-suite, ground floor etc. Fees quoted below are minimum fees per service user and covers accommodation, full board, laundry, in-house activities and most importantly, complete Nursing Care.
En-suite Single Room from £800 per week.
GP/Physiotherapist Service
Our Home is served by a local General Practitioner who holds a surgery within the Home on a weekly basis. Residents may continue to use the services of their own GP, if they are registered with a local practice. A physiotherapist visits the Home each week and her services are offered to all residents, mainly to foster and improve mobility. These services are included in the weekly fees.
Laundry
Personal laundry is performed in the Home using our own facilities, at no extra charge. Specialist cleaning, if required, can be arranged but an additional charge will be incurred. All clothing should be capable of being machine-washed and must be suitably labelled. We request relatives to assist us in this process.
Optician and Dental
The services of a visiting optician and a local dentist are available if required.
Hairdressing/Chiropody
Our hairdresser visits the Home weekly and is available to the residents, on request and our chiropodist visits as necessary. The cost is extra and payable by the resident.
Newspapers/Magazines
Newspapers/magazines can be arranged and delivered on a daily basis. Residents will be billed quarterly, in arrears, for this service.
Religious Service
The services of chaplains from various denominations are available. Holy Communion is held monthly, by local clergy, or as required by the resident.
Welfare and Activities
A comprehensive and varied activities programme, designed to stimulate the need of all our residents, is arranged by our in house activities co-ordinator.
Activities range from indoor ball games, short walks or a glass of sherry in the garden.
We also have frequent outings such as a visit to the garden centre, Christmas light viewing etc... to suit the season. There may be extra cost for the outings, trips.
External agencies and volunteers are encouraged to come in and offer their services and performance.

The home is located within a short distance (2 miles) of the historic market town centre of Godalming, within walking distance of Hurtmore village centre.
